Just last week I was out on press tour with Monte Cristo Games showing off CITIES XL, their city-building/MMO/tycoon game. Yes, it’s bringing with it aspects of all three games, yet it does them all very well. Don’t take my word for it, check out these previews so far -

Daniel Dumont, lead designer on Sacred 2: Fallen Angel for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, today discusses the creation of a special quest in the game. In this new post, he goes into the story he creates for the quest (and the characters within it) and other details of its creation.

Focus Home and Firebrand released a fresh new batch of screens and a new trailer for TrackMania DS. The great thing about the video (beyond that it’s about a favorite racing game of mine) is that it shows off some actual in-game action, including the track editor, which will let players share tracks via Nintendo Wireless (but not Internet).
Sacred 2’s seen plenty of love from the media lately. A quick trip to GameRankings will show that the multiple press tours and events have certainly contributed to the volume of new previews, which as a whole have been pretty favorable.
Along with the press events, we launched a Facebook fan page and a MySpace page for the game, both of which have proven popular with fans.
To top all that off, we’ve also been working with IGN PC to release new Sacred 2 character showcase videos each week. The last several of which can be found here.
Today we released two new videos for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, both showing off a few of the many combat arts (special abilities) for the High Elf character.

Garfield, the forever-fat cat, is headed to retail in a new game that’s likely to make family-gamers happy. Garfield: Lasagna World Tour for the PlayStation 2 (you better believe that console ain’t dead yet) has headed to stores. Read the full release here -
Fans of Blood Bowl can now check out the first video for the game, coming from Cyanide and Focus Home Interactive for PC, Xbox 360, PSP and DS. Mind you, this video is just for the PC and 360 versions, but oh my, is it awesome.
